Scientifically Tested!
In November 2009, the FireSafe Bushfire Rated Roller Shutter was tested by the CSIRO at their specialised testing facility in NSW (Report# FSZ1379) and for the purpose of building regulations in Australia, achieved a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) of A40 when fully closed.
The FireSafe Bushfire Rated Roller Shutter and elements of its construction were exposed to a radiant heat as severe as 40 kW/m2, to simulate bushfire attack including both radiant heat and small flaming sources. FireSafe has been successful in all its performance testing.
